New Boyfriend for Britney Spears?
Kid Rock says he plans to continue to withhold his albums from iTunes because the digital music store doesn't pay artists enough money.
The musician, who is one of the remaining artists not signed up to the store, said that iTunes was based on “an old system”.
“iTunes takes the money, the record company takes the money, and they don't give it to the artists," he told the BBC.
Kid Rock compared his issue with the company to the stories of musicians like Otis Redding and Chuck Berry who, Rock claims, “never got paid”.
Although the internet promised to be “an opportunity for everyone to be treated fairly,” Rock said iTunes had continued to work in the past.
The singer said he was losing a further 10-20% of album sales by not appearing on the music store, but added that he wasn't “really feeling that blow.”
Rock's latest album 'Rock'n'Roll Jesus' debuted at number one in America last year, despite not appearing on iTunes.
With both Paris Hilton and her best friend Nicole Richie dating twin brothers, it's been easy fodder for the rumor mill that the Simple Life stars would be walking down the aisle with their beaus in a double ceremony. However, says the heiress, that's just not going to happen.
"I've been hearing that rumor," admits Paris, who is dating Benji Madden, twin brother of Nicole's baby-daddy Joel Madden, in an interview with E!'s Ryan Seacrest. "But no, I think we both would want to have separate weddings."
While she shot down hopes of double "I Do's," Paris did say the foursome does have some group activity planned. "It is weirdwe're dating twins but it's pretty perfect. We are all going on tour this summer, so I'm really excited about that."
And what about following in Nicole's footsteps and having a baby with her Madden? "Harlow has really just changed her life," says Paris about her pal's infant daughter. "She is the most beautiful baby and I love kids, so I can't wait to have one one day."
