Actors' Impasse Could Affect Comic-con

Steven "Frosty" Weintraub, who runs the Collider entertainment website, has warned that if the Screen Actors Guild and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers are unable to reach an agreement by early next month, actors would likely disappear from the July 24 Comic-Con convention in San Diego. "Most people go to Comic-Con to get a glimpse of some of the biggest actors working in the entertainment industry," Weintraub wrote. "Where else can a fan from Colorado show up and know their favorite actors will be there and they'd actually have a chance to get an autograph or ask them a question?" Weintraub, who says he was a "staunch supporter" of the Writers Guild strike is clearly opposed to the actors' tactics. If the writers and directors were able to work out a deal with the studios, he comments, "I'd like to think [a precedent] has been set over new media money and other residuals." Meanwhile, the Associated Press reported on Tuesday that Jack Nicholson, Viggo Mortensen, Nick Nolte are among some 60 actors who have signed a letter supporting the leadership of the Screen Actors Guild in its effort to persuade members of the American Federation of TV and Radio Artists to vote against the contract with the AMPTP negotiated by their union's leaders.

Kid Rock Says iTunes Is Not Paying Artists Enough Money

Kid Rock says he plans to continue to withhold his albums from iTunes because the digital music store doesn't pay artists enough money.

The musician, who is one of the remaining artists not signed up to the store, said that iTunes was based on “an old system”.

“iTunes takes the money, the record company takes the money, and they don't give it to the artists," he told the BBC.

Kid Rock compared his issue with the company to the stories of musicians like Otis Redding and Chuck Berry who, Rock claims, “never got paid”.

Although the internet promised to be “an opportunity for everyone to be treated fairly,” Rock said iTunes had continued to work in the past.

The singer said he was losing a further 10-20% of album sales by not appearing on the music store, but added that he wasn't “really feeling that blow.”

Rock's latest album 'Rock'n'Roll Jesus' debuted at number one in America last year, despite not appearing on iTunes.

Paris Shoots Down Twin Wedding Rumors

With both Paris Hilton and her best friend Nicole Richie dating twin brothers, it's been easy fodder for the rumor mill that the Simple Life stars would be walking down the aisle with their beaus in a double ceremony. However, says the heiress, that's just not going to happen.

"I've been hearing that rumor," admits Paris, who is dating Benji Madden, twin brother of Nicole's baby-daddy Joel Madden, in an interview with E!'s Ryan Seacrest. "But no, I think we both would want to have separate weddings."

While she shot down hopes of double "I Do's," Paris did say the foursome does have some group activity planned. "It is weirdwe're dating twins but it's pretty perfect. We are all going on tour this summer, so I'm really excited about that."

And what about following in Nicole's footsteps and having a baby with her Madden? "Harlow has really just changed her life," says Paris about her pal's infant daughter. "She is the most beautiful baby and I love kids, so I can't wait to have one one day."

For the complete interview tune-in tonight to E! News at 7:00pm/11:00pm ET/PT.

Initially known best for beingness a brobdingnagian white-boy rapper from Tennessee, Haystak overcame his anomalous condition with time as listeners learned to cherish his unassumingness. Unlike many of his Southern peers, Haystak didn't embrace materialism and greed; he rapped about his life as so-called "white scrap," exploring the social dimensions of beingness flannel and underprivileged in the South. Following the success of mate white-boy rappers Eminem and Bubba Sparxxx, Haystak establish it easier to earn regard in an industry that had long frowned upon e. B. White rappers, peculiarly those from the land.

Born Jason Winfree in Nashville, TN, to adolescent parents and raised by his grandparents, Haystak grew up among destitute surroundings. He turned to crime as he came of age, in the end getting busted for delivery Valium and cocaine to school at age 15. After helping a biennial sentence, Haystak turned to tap euphony as his salvation. Few gave the mammoth country boy a chance to win, however. In the late '90s he defied the odds by positioning himself with a local rap label, Street Flavor, and producers Kevin Grisham and Sonny Paradise. The partnership resulted in Maktab al-Khidmat Million, Haystak's 1998 debut album, followed deuce age later by Car Fulla White Boys. By this point Haystak had garnered a square regional following, and underground hardcore rap issue Murder Dog particularly championed the florescence rapper. The ensuing buzz attracted Koch Records, world Health Organization signed Haystak and re-released Car Fulla White Boys in late summer 2000. Two days by and by, Koch released Haystak's third album, The Natural.
